Meet Tina Yost:
Hello! I’m the Practice Owner, and I'm excited that you are here!
I have helped individuals navigate their personal and professional challenges for over 25 years. Supporting others has been my passion, as I provide insight and perspective through mentorship, coaching, and leadership. I completed the Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) series and have practiced mindfulness for over 10 years, leading numerous activities and groups. I am a daughter, sister, mother, wife, friend, and more. Life can be overwhelming—I have been there many times. My goal is to walk alongside you, promoting self-reflection, self-discovery, and self-direction on your life journey, sharing my knowledge and expertise to help you create a life that brings you happiness.
I have been married for over 25 years, have three adult children, and had a career in the healthcare industry before transitioning to a licensed professional counselor associate. Since I was a young adult, I have listened to others and helped them navigate life’s challenges. I have experienced my own challenges throughout the years, like navigating parenthood with a neurodivergent child, experiencing estrangement, and work stress, to name a few. Feedback from others includes: easy to talk to, compassionate, honest, and direct.
I completed my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology at the University of Houston and my Master of Education in Clinical Counseling at Lindsey Wilson University. I am licensed in the state of Kentucky as a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate (LPCA), License #294915.
